By 2013 Peel group and Wirral council will have attracted some sizeable investment of around £4.5 billion to West float Dock Birkenhead Merseyside and will have built a huge trading centre, to rival anything in Europe. 3000 Jobs will be a major plus for the area. Homes and leisure facilities will be a welcome side effect of this business centre and it is a direct link between Asia and and the UK with many Asian conglomorates already signed up.

4 multi level buildings totally around 230,000 square footage will be home to over 1,000 Chinese, Indian, South Korean companies to manufacture , exhibit and sell there wares directly to the UK through the Wirral.Being on a major ferry port means Ireland will be a major purchaser from the East and goods can be quickly dispatched across the Irish Sea.
Local companies will have access to major goods and at great prices as there will be no shipping costs from the East.

This also comes in the wake of news about Wirral Waters Investment plans for the next thirty years seeing Birkenhead totally transformed with new high rise homes and Leisure facilities.

The Wirral International trade centre will certainly help fund growth of the Wirral and Birkenhead and create a much better envirnment for people to live
